Essays for Chapitre 6

Here are your essays for the test tomorrow.  Préparez-vous!!!

1.  Be able to write a conversation between a ticket agent and a customer who would like buy a round-trip ticket to Paris.  You need to ask what time the train parts, from what platform, and how much it is.  Also don't forget to thank the ticket agent.

2.  Imagine that there are two photos of you that you are describing to a friend.  In the first photo you and a friend are in front of a chateau.  In the second photo we see a Ferris Wheel.  Write about each photo, telling where you and your friends went.  Tell us what you did, and how you liked it.

For this unit we are reading our first book in French.  We will be reading La Belle et la Bête (Beauty and the Beast).  We will also be learning about French chateaux.

L'histoire de Louis XIV



This week we are learning about the past tense in French.  Listen and read the story of Louis XIV, and see if you can figure out how the passé composé is formed with the verb être/ and in the reflexive form.

Projet: Les vacances



 Your next project will to tell about a vacation real or imaginary using Google Slides. In this presentation you must do the following:

  • Provide illustrations on each slide. (10 pts)
  • Describe where a person can find the place and its size compared to Boise.  (Plus grand(e) que/ Moins grand(e) que) (10 pts)
  • Use at least 5 vocabulary words from this unit and suggest activities that one can do there. (10 pts)
  • Use at least 5 reflexive verbs in your presentation. (10 pts)
You will present these on Monday in Tuesday in French in front of the class.  Please submit your finished presentations using Google Classrooms.  This is a performance task and will be graded based on the requirements above and your oral delivery of the project (10 pts).  See below.
